Register for #CLDE18 and Advance Your Commitment to Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement in Higher Education

The American Democracy Project (ADP), The Democracy Commitment (TDC), and the NASPA LEAD Initiative are committed to advancing the civic engagement movement in higher education. Together we work to ensure that students graduate from our colleges and universities–both public and private–prepared to be the informed, engaged citizens that our communities and our democracy need.
The 2018 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Meeting (CLDE18) is June 6-8, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Anaheim, California.
Notices of program proposal acceptances went out last week from Stephanie King at NASPA — we were excited to accept more than 100 proposals that capture the breadth and depth of the civic engagement movement. The program will introduce participants to our CLDE Theory of Change by encouraging us all to consider how higher education best contributes to a thriving democracy through well considered learning outcomes, pedagogy and strategy.
