We are excited for the annual 2016 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement (CLDE) Meeting organized by ADP, TDC, and NASPA to be held June 2-4, 2016 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis, IN.
The 2016 conference promises to catalyze a more intentional academic and student affairs collaboration and to enhance institutional commitments to excellence in civic education and political engagement.
We continue the tradition of meetings that facilitate true exchanges of knowledge and develop as well a sense of community around our shared civic learning and democratic engagement work. This meeting will consist of outstanding plenary sessions, informative concurrent sessions, engaging teaching demonstrations, as well as interactive institutes and I3 (Information, Ideas, and Innovation) conversations.
This unique collaboration will allow participants who share our civic ethos to engage in meeting sessions with tags such as:
- Partnerships between Academic and Student Affairs;
- Civic Pathways;
- Engaging Diverse Students;
- Developing Community Partnerships;
- Assessment of Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement; and
- Political Engagement.
