ADP/TDC 2013 National Meeting: Pre-Conference Workshops and Meetings
Our annual conference is drawing nearer, and we’re getting excited to see you in Denver! We know that you’d like to make the most of this year’s meeting, so we want to share with you the preliminary schedule of pre-conference meetings and workshops.
Pre-Conference Preliminary Schedule for Thursday, June 6, 2013:
- Full-Day (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
- Campus & Community Civic Health Initiative Summit and Working Lunch (by invitation, rsvp required)
- Global Challenges Workshop: Educating Globally Competent Citizens (open, rsvp required)
- Urban Civic Minor (invite only)
- Morning (9 a.m. – Noon)
- Stewardship of Public Lands Course Development Meeting (invite only)
- Community Learning Partnership (open)
- 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.: eCitizenship Working Meeting (for representatives from eCitizenship Campuses)
- 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Political Engagement Project Working Meeting (for representative from PEP Campuses)
- 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.: MSU Denver Site Visit (RSVP required; capped at 25)
- Afternoon (Noon – 3 p.m.)
- Public Achievement Student Coaches Workshop (invite only)
- Stewardship of Public Lands Workshop (open)
- eCitizenship Workshop (open)
- Political Engagement Project Workshop (open)
- Developing a Winning Civic Engagement Grant Proposal (limit 15. RSVP required)

- Noon – 2 p.m.: Bridging Cultures (invite only)
- Noon – 1:30 p.m.: Citizen Alum Moving Forward: Invitational Meeting (invite only)
- 1:30 – 3 p.m.: eJournal of Public Affairs Editorial Board Meeting (invite only)
- 2 – 3 p.m.: ADP Welcome Orientation (for ADP participants who are new to ADP and/or new to the conference)
- 2 – 3 p.m.: TDC Welcome Orientation
*Note: The opening plenary starts at 3:30pm on Thursday. Full descriptions of these meetings and pre-conference workshops, as well as invites and information regarding how to RSVP, will be forthcoming. Most of the invite only meetings are restricted to representatives from campuses participating in the specific project or initiative the meeting is organized by.
