New logo for ADP’s Political Engagement Project

As the Campus Communication Liaison for the American Democracy Project at Illinois State University, my responsibilities include providing marketing/promotional materials for events as well producing general advertising materials for the ADP on our campus. This semester I had the pleasure of working on several different design concepts for the national ADP PEP logo.
To complete this task, I worked closely with our graphic design intern, Emily Herrick, who is a Senior majoring in Graphic Design & minoring in Civic Engagement & Responsibility. The main concept behind the logo was to inspire or evoke the notions of giving a voice to political issues and being empowered to speak out about those issues, which is at the heart of political engagement! So, we decided to get really, really creative with a bullhorn, a few stars, and a couple of stripes!
